About Us

We believe that every young person in Scotland deserves a chance. A chance to be seen. A chance to prove themselves. A chance to forge a successful career for themselves.

Without intervention, not everyone gets that same chance. Whether a result of financial hardship, disability, or illness, because of situations often beyond their control, many Scottish children simply don’t enjoy the same opportunities as others. We’re working to change that.

Operating as a grant-giving charity, Chance to Succeed strives to ensure that all young people in Scotland can make a positive contribution to society through gainful employment.

With projects aimed at building employment skills and instilling confidence, we help the youth of today find their feet so that they can be prepared for the workplace of tomorrow.

Chance to Succeed is Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO number: SC046179).

Our Other Lottery Charities

Launched in conjunction with the Scottish Children’s Lottery, Chance to Succeed is just one of four independent charitable societies to benefit from the fundraising efforts of the scheme.

Like us, all of the other charities – Chance to Flourish, Chance to Connect and Chance to Study – work with a clear and specific remit, yet share one overarching objective: to improve the lives of children and young people across Scotland.

Each charity receives 20p from every £1 ticket sold by the Scottish Children’s Lottery, which operates on a rotational basis. To find out more about the schedule and when each good cause will be promoted, click here.
